Upcoming Events


2012 Primary Elections

The Filing Deadline for all offices on the 2012 Ballot is Thursday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m.

Primary Elections will be held Tuesday, March 6
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

You'll also need to know which voting precinct you live in, which you can find on your Voter Registration card or by clicking Here.

Early Voting is available February 21-March 2.
There are 5 polling sites for early voting in Smith County.

Ballot By Mail is available to anyone who is disabled, over 65, or will be out of down on Election Day. For more information on how to vote by mail, Click Here.

All persons who wish to vote in March must be registered in Smith County by February 6.
The 2012 Voter Registration card is YELLOW.
All voters should receive their new cards in January, 2012.
If you do not get a card, or need to change your residence or name on the card, please contact the County Elections Administrator's office at 903-590-4777.

Office Hours
During election periods, the Party Office is staffed 11 am-5:30 pm daily and by appointment as needed on evenings or weekends.
Please call 903-593-7061 to leave a message or email us (party@smithdems.org) to arrange a specific meeting time.
The office is located at 401 E. Front Street, Suite 143 in Tyler.
